Payment will not be taken until tour is fully confirmed. Most of our tours operate 'on request' and we will send you a confirmation email to notify you if your booking has been confirmed by our team.

Tour services promoted on this site are provided by reputable independent tour operators NZ Shore Excursions acts only as an agent of the suppliers of these services.

NZ Shore Excursions accepts no liability of any kind from any loss, damage, injury, costs or delays resulting from your use of these tour services.

Participation may also be subject to the independent tour operator's own terms and conditions. Any claims arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be brought only in the court of general jurisdiction where the principal office of the independent tour operator is located, and the choice of law with respect to any such claim shall be the law of that jurisdiction.

NZ Shore Excursions and its independent tour operators reserves the right to cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or for any other reason and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to customers due to a tour cancellation.
Therefore NZ Shore Excursions will issue a full refund for all cancelled tours, including those cancelled due to a delay in ship arrival or an inability of a ship to call on a particular port.

Refunds:
In order to receive a refund for a cancelled tour, customers must submit a refund request by contacting NZ Shore Excursions within 14 days of tour's departure date. This should be done in writing or by email. Noting details of the tour, dates, ship, operator and voucher number.

Unless otherwise noted within the tour description, customers can cancel a tour up to 14 days before departure and receive a full refund. All tours are non-refundable if not cancelled by customers before 14 days of the tour departure.

No refunds will be made to any customer who fails to show up for a tour departure at the designated time and place, or who leaves, or otherwise does not use all of the services scheduled to be provided by an excursion. Most tours will operate in a variety of weather conditions, and no refunds will be made to any customer who chooses not to participate in a departing tour due to weather conditions. Members of any excursion who elect to leave the designated tour transportation must provide their own transportation at their own expense back to the landing place of the vessel.

Custom designed bookings will always have a $25 per person non-refundable penalty for cancellations made at any time after the booking has been confirmed and the credit card charged.

The right is reserved by NZ Shore Excursions and its independent tour operators to withdraw any tour, to change the sequence of tour activities, or to omit specific activities for any reason, including the safety or best interest of the customers. Tour operators may also decline to provide tour services of any customer at any time.

All personal items, including coats, cameras, handbags, and similar personal articles should remain at all times through the tour under your personal control. NZ Shore Excursions is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items while you are on tour.

Limited Mobility:
NZ Shore Excursions must be notified in writing if any of the guests have limited mobility. NZ Shore Excursions and its independent tour operators offers tours that specifically handle those clients, and are prepared to handle wheelchairs and any other equipment that might accompany the guests. If a guest has movement issues and books a tour that is not designed for that type of person, NZ Shore Excursions cannot be responsible for the satisfaction of the client.

The prices for promoted tours on NZ Shore Excursions are in NZ Dollars and are subject to change without notice. However, NZ Shore Excursions will honour the price at the time of the confirmed tour booking even if prices change before tour departure. Our detailed tour descriptions list all features included in each tour, which may or may not include guide services, meals, transportation, and entrance fees.

Cancellation insurance is available and is highly recommended. If the purchaser already carries this type of insurance, he is directed to contact the insurance company to add in the coverage of these trips.
